Cruzeiro win Brazilian Serie A for third time in their history

Cruzeiro have won the Brazilian Serie A today after opening up an unassailable lead of 16 points at the top of the table with four games remaining.

Cruzeiro sealed the league by beating Vitoria by three goals to one, former Arsenal striker Julio Baptista was amongst the scorers.

This is Cruzeiro's third Serie A in their history, winning previously in 1966 and most recently in 2003.
